Everybody wears jeans. No, not designer jeans, the real thing. Levi's and Wranglers are the main choices. This is not the place for Dockers, wool business slacks, matching sweats, or...we kid you not...shorts.
Wear anything other than jeans and chicks will walk around you like you're warm cow manure.
Wear a collared shirt, preferably one with a western cut and pearl-snap buttons. Stay away from golf shirts, t-shirts, and business-looking buttondowns. Be clean and smell good. Make sure your breath is fresh. Carry a roll of BreathSavers and a couple of sticks of gum.
Boots are the best footwear, but you can get away with clean running shoes...maybe. Just make sure they are dark-colored so the cockblockers don't have such an easy target. Wear a pair of nice white Nike's and they'll be on you like alley dogs...and they'll rip you right in front of her. Do not wear boat shoes, loafers, or lace-up business shoes. Do we really need to carry this out any farther?
Remember...this is a cowboy bar.
